Stoneware cup with an unglazed exterior in a warm brown-red clay. The interior is finished with a transparent glaze, creating a glossy dark brown surface while making the cup waterproof. Perfect for serving Tea, Matcha or Coffee. Handmade by artist Urška Bavčar for her Brand Formare.

Every item is hand built and then left to dry. Afterwards the items are bisque-fired in a kiln, hand-glazed and fired once again. Through this intimate process each item turns out slightly different (both in shape and size) and truly unique.

The cup is generally dishwasher safe; however, it should not remain wet for extended periods or be placed while still damp on surfaces such as wooden tables, as the unglazed exterior may release moisture. Hand washing is recommended.
