Hand made from the versatile English Ash. Ash is known as the Woodsman’s Friend, is beautifully soft to touch and hard-wearing in use. Resistant to splitting, it is the only hardwood that burns when green. Said to have healing properties. Norse gods called it the Tree of Life.
A tag is provided with each handmade board, telling you where your tree once stood – a provenance we deserve to know!

Hampson Woods designs and produces wooden products.
