Founder Tara Bennett created Provider Store to bring to life the friendships and bonds made through her international adventures – celebrating not only the individual items, but the stories of the makers and the journey to bring them to life. Their shop and studio is nestled in Sydney’s Surry Hills, where you can browse their hand-picked wares for yourself or join them for a chat.
If you’ve ever visited Japan you’ll understand the fascination. During her first trip to the country six years ago Tara was immediately inspired by its incredible heritage and respect for resource preservation – Japan’s appreciation for sustainable practices is visible everywhere. Following the visit, Tara quit her job in e-commerce and committed herself to educating people on ethical manufacturing, sustainability and smart purchasing.

We choose them because they’re the best at what they do, and regularly journey back to visit our makers – both local craftspeople and ceramic workshops – to select and design new pieces.”
