Founded in Japan in 1946, Saikai has its roots in the traditional pottery regions of Arita and Hasamiyaki, known for centuries-old craftsmanship and delicately hand-painted porcelain.
In 1991, the company introduced its collection to the U.S. from Los Angeles, sharing the beauty of handmade Japanese ceramics with a wider audience. Today, Saikai works closely with skilled artisans across Japan, offering timeless, functional pieces created with care and rooted in tradition.
