Hornvare Fabrikken - Egg spoon

Hornvarefabrikken has been making egg spoons out of horn since 1935. Throughout the years the production of egg spoons grew so much that in the 1960s Hornvarefabrikken bought the factory's first metal tool to punch or press out the egg spoons.

This small horn spoon can be used both for serving or as an eating utensil. Useful for mustard or other spices. It's perfect for a delicate helping of caviare or as a small egg spoon.

Length: Approx. 12,5 cm. The horn spoon is a 100% natural product.
All the horn products in the collection are engraved with the Hornvarefabrikken logo.
Please notice that colours on the images are only indicative, every spoon is one of a kind and may vary in pattern and colour.

Clean your horn items in lukewarm running water without soap or other cleaning products. Dry off the items immediately.
Never clean horn items in a dishwasher. Never soak horn items in water for a longer period. You can dip the items in cold or lukewarm water, but no more than that. Dry off the items immediately. Never use hot water. Do not allow your horn items to sit for prolonged periods in fluids, e.g. jams, salads, or dressings - for the duration of the meal is fine. Avoid leaving horn items in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
Old heirloom horn items like old tablespoons etc. should be given a light coating of oil from time to time to prevent them from drying out.

Hornvarefabrikken is the only company in Denmark producing arts and crafts made out of horn. Hornvarefabrikken was established in 1935 in Bøvlingbjerg where all the products are being produced even today.
